BSA Scout Troop #692

Hello & Welcome,

Troop 692 is proud of their scouts.  Playing hard, working hard and keeping physically fit is our goal.  We have traveled to New Mexico for hiking, CapeCod for biking, Florida for boating.  We serve our community in many ways.

Scouts build skills to prepare them for bigger trips as they get older. For example, in 2016 senior Scouts spent two weeks on a Wilderness Canoe Trip in Canada! And in 2017, Scouts went on a sailing trip in the Bahamas! These are just a few of the many adventures that can happen through Scouting.

Boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 17 can join at any time and are encouraged to do so.  Please give me a shout if your son or daughter is interested.  He or she can come by and check us out!

Mr. Medici, Scoutmaster

Important announcement for 2021 Seabase participants

Posted on Sep 14 2020 - 8:46am

We will be holding an informational meeting about the 2021 Seabase trip on Thursday, September 17th at 7:00pm on WebEx. All parents of Scouts who will be joining the 2021 Seabase trips will need to attend this informational meeting.  Since our next payment is due on October 1st, we ask that we have firm commitments from families AND payments in our Troop account well before that date.  Stay tuned for a WebEx link to this meeting.  Please note that this meeting is for parents of Scouts and Scouts signed up for the 2021 Seabase trip only.

We will still meet at 8:00am in the WCS parking lot on Sunday and caravan up to the spot.  Please sign up using the link on the right hand side of the website if you would like to go!

BSA Troop 692 - Survey Results

Posted on Aug 29 2020 - 8:38am

Thank you to all of the parents who participated in our survey!  With 24 responses, we have heard from at least one parent from every family which gives us an excellent idea as to what our families are thinking about the upcoming year.  The Troop Committee will analyze the results and use them to help formulate this year's program. The results and comments can be viewed at the following link:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/results/SM-G8KNJCFB7/

BSA Troop 692 - Parent Survey

Posted on Aug 15 2020 - 5:53pm

In an effort to determine what our Troop programs will look like this year, we are asking parents to please take a brief, 8 question survey that will give us a better idea about the comfort levels of our families.  We would ask that at least one parent of each Scouting family please complete the survey. The results will be completely anonymous and the information we gather will be used to plan out our year.  So in other words, YOUR OPINION MATTERS! You can take the survey by clicking on the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BRLCMQ8
